Crosspoint has a team of trained Crisis Intervention Counselors that are available 24/7, 365 days a year. They are able to provide an assessment of immediate need, address that need, and provide referral and linkage to an appropriate level of care. As a mobile team, they respond locally to OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center, Carle Regional Hospital in Hoopeston, the Public Safety Building, community providers, and, when safe and appropriate to do so, other community locations.

Crosspoint’s psychiatric services include expert evaluation and medical management of mental health issues. psychiatric services occur within the context of a treatment program. Our professional providers are part of the treatment team; most counseling, therapy, and support is provided by trained therapists, social workers, nurses, and care coordinators. Medication can be helpful in relieving symptoms and be prescribed as part of a treatment plan that typically includes therapy, education, and community support.
